If you are a parent of a student
Firstly, we're really sorry that this has affected your child. It is not what we want, or what they want, or what you want.
Management can stop this. We suggest that you:
1. Email the Vice Chancellor
Tell him:
You were reassured at Open Days that these subjects were secure and taught by world-leading researchers - and that this now appears misleading.
You are concerned that course instability and staff cuts will damage your child’s degree, employability, and wellbeing.
You are encouraging your child to request compensation for any lost teaching.
You believe cutting high-performing academic schools while maintaining senior executive salaries is shameful mismanagement.
2. Email your MP

Tell them:
The debt your child is accruing for 'tuition' is not being used to pay for teachers, technicians, and researchers.
Money is leaking upward into executive bonuses and expanding managerial structures.
This is not a fair use of your child's money, or your money as a UK taxpayer.
